
Shri O. S. Thyagarajan Shri O. S. Thyagarajan learnt music initially from Guru Sangeetha Bhushanam Shri O.V. Subramanyam and later guidance from Padmashri Lalgudi G. Jayaraman and Sangeetha Kalanidhi T.M. Thyagaraja. He has performed all over the world with senior accompaniments like Shri M.G. Gopalakrishnan, Shri Lalgudi Jayaraman, Shri Palghat Mani Iyer, Shri Umayalpuram K. Sivaraman.

hails in the lineage of Flute Maestro Brahmasri Sharabha Sastrigal.
He is a disciple of Sangeethabhushanam Sri V.Janakiraman. He
was recognised as a child prodigy and has established himself
as an artist of great talent, dedication and creativity. He has
given solo performances all over the country and abroad. He has
accompanied all the distinguished musicians. He has the rare
distinction of winning the Madras Music Academy's prestigious
award as the Best accompanying violinist for 3 years in succession.
He has also won many other awards and is one of the most sought
after violin artists in India. All India Radio gave him an age
exemption when they made him a graded artist at the age of 13.
He has performed all over the world and his skill on the violin
has been acclaimed by both music critics and the rasikas in India
and abroad. He has established Venkata Academy of Music and Arts
to impart training in the field of Carnatic Music. Hailing from a family of music connoisseurs at Neyveli, Narayanan learnt under the guidance of Shri S.K. Ganeshpillai at the age of the seven. He had intensive training under the master Late Tanjavur Shri Upandran. Narayanan is now blessed as a favorite disciple of the legendary Shri Umayalpuram K. Sivaraman.
