Ranjani & Gayatri The sisters' music, imbued with a deep classicism, has been described as an exhilarating blend of vitality, melody and emotion. Endowed with strong and pliant voices that uniquely complement each other, the sisters have a striking style of their own, which has won the hearts of the traditionalist and the lay rasika at once. Recently they were rated as one of the top popular Carnatic vocalists by the leading classical music magazine "Sruti." Ranjani and Gayatri have the distinction of being A-Graded in violin as well as vocal. Their concerts are regularly featured in all prominent sabhas in the December Music Festival in Chennai, and at premier institutions all over the country. They have to their credit several album releases, both violin and vocal. Ranjani and Gayatri owe their rich musical heritage to the focussed and high-level training received from their gurus - Sangita Bhooshanam T.S. Krishnaswami for violin and Sangeeta Kala Acharya Sri. P.S. Narayanaswamy for vocal. They had their initial vocal training from their mother Smt. Meenakshi Balasubramaniam, from whom they still continue to learn. Mysore H.N. Bhaskar H.N. Bhaskar, a highly talented young violinist,is the son and disciple of H.K. Narasimha Murthy. He has been receiving advanced training in violin from Sangeetha Kalanidhi M.S. Gopalakrishnan. He has been accompanying competently the leading musicians of today. He is a A-Grade musician of AIR. N. Manoj Siva N. Manoj Siva, a highly skilled
and accomplished mridangam artiste, received his early training
from Kumbakonam Rajappa Iyer. He has been receiving advanced
training from Padmashri Palghat R. Raghu. He has accompanied
doyens in the field including Shri D.K. Jayaraman, Palghat K.V.
