His music is rooted in the Maihar gharana which has also schooled legends like Pt Ravi Shankar and Ustad Ali Akbar Khan. He will be accompanied by Maestro Gourisankar on the Tabla.

The poems explored include the epic poem “Kamayani” by Jai Shankar Prasad (20th Century – Hindi), “Poetry arrived in search of me” by Pablo Neruda (20th Century – Original in Spanish – English translation), “Where Everything is Music” by Rumi (13th Century – Original in Persian – English translation), “Draupadi’s Dharma” by Pramila Venkateswaran (21st Century – Original in English – Tamil translation), and “Ishq” by Amir Khusrau (13th Century – Persian).
